Why do I need to attach Photo in Resume?

Employers expect to see a photo included with the CV in Japan. In fact, your application might be ignored without one. I think photo in the CV gives a more complete representation of the applicant and lets them make a connection with the person. But this is somewhat a custom in Japan.
